Blake Marleau Snyder graduated summa cum laude in Biochemistry & Chemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Blake matriculated into medical school following a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. As a medical student, Blake was awarded the designation of Academic Excellence and was inducted as one of six AOA Honor Society Leaders within his class. As a researcher, Blake has led first-authored published research in multiple departments on campus and abroad. His research endeavors have helped to identify characteristics of pediatric melanoma patients as well as the relationship between geography and melanoma prognostic factors. As an active member of the Colorado Skin Cancer Task Force and as a Defeat Melanoma Board Member, he has aided in public health interventions within the state and nationally to defeat melanoma.
