The Jeff Dulude Melanoma Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of University of Colorado medical student BLAKE MARLEAU SNYDER to the Defeat Melanoma executive board.
Snyder graduated with honors from the University of Colorado’s Boulder campus with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, and is a current MD candidate at the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine. He joins Defeat Melanoma with many years of research experience and clinical volunteer experience under his belt. In addition to his many academic awards and honors, Snyder has also worked in various medical research and investigative roles with the likes of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders & Stroke, the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disorders, and the University of Colorado’s Sousa Lab Group and School of Medicine, studying and implementing ways to help people live healthier lives.
The news of Snyder’s addition to the Defeat Melanoma board comes at a time when, more than ever, research is needed in the fight to eradicate skin cancer’s most dangerous and prevalent forms.
The Defeat Melanoma Board also includes Dr. Alexandra Dulude, Claudia Dulude, Richard Dulude, Jane Gordon, Jim Long, Dr. Gary Meller, and Leslie Stern.
